During the initial consultation, which is free, each of our consumer clients is introduced to the specific lawyer that will be assigned to their case, unlike other consumer law firms where consumers never meet any lawyer. At the Atlantic Legal Group, P.A., consumer clients are encouraged to speak directly to their lawyer with questions and concerns that may arise during the firm's representation.
The lawyers of the firm provide years of experience to the representation of commercial clients involved with the businesses of real estate development, real estate construction and hotel acquisition, franchising and operation. Extending beyond the traditional areas of title, transfer and real estate finance and capitalization, the firm's lawyers have experience in the detailed operational issues such as representing clients in defense of OSHA and EPA complaints, administration and civil litigation arising under AIA contracts, negotiation of public utility supply agreements, hotel franchise agreements, including their termination, and the adjustment and civil litigation of claims for catastrophic damage to commercial real estate.
The firm has a policy of complete disclosure to its clients, and provides each of its clients with the option of accessing all the information about the status of their matter and the actions taken on their behalf on a continuous basis through access on the internet.
The Atlantic Legal Group, P.A. charges reasonable fees to its consumer clients, and arrangements have been made by the firm to limit its fees to fixed amounts for consumer matters, and a finance company not related to the firm will provide fixed fee financing to the firm's clients at a reasonable rate of interest. Commercial clients and more complex matters are billed at hourly rates appropriate for each of the members of our staff working on the case, and are fully disclosed and approved by clients before our representation begins.
